Dear friends of Heart in Africa
Last February, we spent a few days in Kenya, where we were able to see and experience a lot. Above all, we were able to spend a lot of time with the children from Nice View. A review of our time in Msambweni and the region will follow, but here are a few impressions for you today.

And not just the thoughts! Our store has also become even more colorful and versatile. We took the opportunity to bring back many new items from Kenya. Julius, the in-house tailor from the children’s village, has sewn some great colorful cushion covers, toiletry bags in three sizes and the popular cloth bags for us.

And the own carpentry workshop was also busy, making practical key fobs for us again. This time, we were even able to watch the impressive production process live. More about this in our trip review.

25 years of Nice View
Unbelievable but true, the success story of Nice View began 25 years ago. From an initial 8 orphans, over 70 have found a home in Nice View Village. A home that offers them a lot of love, belonging and hope. The whole Dürr family can be immensely proud of what they have achieved and we at Heart in Africa are grateful to be a part of that great Nice View Family. einzigARTig arts and crafts market
Last but not least, a reminder of the upcoming arts and crafts market einzigARTig from 04 – 06.04.2025 in Basel, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. We from Herz in Afrika will be there again with our funny ceramic birds and we would be delighted to welcome you!
